Signal Transduction

Cell signalling is the transmission of molecular signals from a cell's exterior to its interior. Signals received are transmitted effectively into the cell to ensure response. This is initiated by cell-surface receptors. The signalling can be described in three stages: Reception, Transduction and Response.
