PD-L1 engages the PD-1 receptor on activated T cells, inhibiting T cell receptor-mediated proliferation and cytokine secretion.1 This HEK293-expressed protein has been used in flow cytometry studies analysing tolerogenic dendritic cell markers, including PD-L1 alongside TLR-2, GILZ and ILT3, on dendritic cells generated under different culture conditions.

Human Interleukin-12 Protein (STJP000505)
IL-12 drives NK cell and Th1 cell activation and is commonly paired with IL-18 in innate immune studies. This HEK293-expressed protein has been used in a co-culture study with Plasmodium falciparum-infected erythrocytes, where NK cell gene regulation was assessed following stimulation with IL-12 and IL-18 together.

Secreted proteins that regulate T cell activation through coinhibitory or immunoregulatory signalling. PD-L1 (B7-H1) binds PD-1 to inhibit T cell receptor-mediated proliferation and cytokine secretion.1 IL-27 and IL-35 are both members of the IL-12 cytokine family with immunoregulatory roles distinct from IL-12 itself, and B7-H4 is a coinhibitory B7 family ligand studied for its role in tumour immune evasion. These targets are used in studies mapping the balance between immune activation and suppression in tumour and inflammatory settings.
Cytokines for Interferon and Antiviral Signalling Research
Type I, II and III interferons for studies of antiviral defence and immune regulation. Interferon-beta 1a and interferon-beta 1b are both type I interferons used in demyelinating disease research, interferon-gamma is the principal type II interferon produced by activated T cells and NK cells, and IL-28B (interferon lambda 3) is a type III interferon with antiviral activity concentrated in epithelial tissue. Adiponectin is an adipocyte-derived hormone involved in glucose and lipid metabolism, ACE-2 is the enzyme receptor that regulates the renin-angiotensin system and also serves as the entry receptor for SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV, erythropoietin-alpha stimulates red blood cell production from haematopoietic progenitors, and hepatocyte growth factor signals through the c-MET receptor to drive cell proliferation and tissue repair.
