Types of ELISA kit

Sandwich ELISA kits

Sandwich ELISA kits use two antibodies against different epitopes of the same target: one immobilised on the plate to capture the antigen, the second conjugated for detection. Our sandwich ELISA range covers over 2,000 analytes across 20+ species, with a standard curve range and sensitivity stated on every datasheet.

Competitive ELISA kits

Competitive ELISA kits measure antigen concentration through signal inhibition rather than direct capture, producing an inverse standard curve. This format suits low molecular weight targets such as hormones and small metabolites that cannot support two non-overlapping antibody binding sites.

Rapid ELISA

Rapid ELISA kits combine sample and antibody incubation into one step and use a single wash before detection, cutting total assay time to 90 minutes. Monoclonal antibody pairs are used throughout to control lot-to-lot variability.

Matched antibody pairs

Matched antibody pair kits supply a titrated capture antibody and biotinylated detection antibody, without a pre-coated plate. This lets you set your own plate, sample diluent and blocking conditions for a custom sandwich ELISA.
