Hantavirus

Recombinant nucleocapsid and glycoprotein antigens for serological and immunological research

Hantavirus proteins for research use in serological assays, immunological studies, and viral characterisation. Our selection includes recombinant nucleocapsid and glycoprotein antigens from multiple hantavirus species including Sin Nombre, Andes, Seoul, and Puumala strains. These proteins are validated for use in Western blot, ELISA, and immunofluorescence applications, enabling researchers to develop assays, generate antibodies, and investigate viral protein structure and immunogenicity.

How it works

Recombinant Expression

Our recombinant hantavirus proteins are produced by inserting the coding sequence for target nucleocapsid or glycoprotein antigens into expression vectors, then expressing them in mammalian cells or E. coli. Purification tags including His, Fc and Strep are added to support downstream applications. Proteins are lyophilised for stability and supplied with full datasheets including purity data by SDS‑PAGE.

Where they're used

Typical applications

ELISA
Recombinant hantavirus proteins are used as coating antigens, standards and capture reagents in ELISA assay development.
Western blot and SDS‑PAGE
Proteins serve as positive controls, molecular weight references and immunogens in Western blot and SDS‑PAGE workflows.
Immunogen for antibody generation
Defined recombinant nucleocapsid and glycoprotein sequences are used as immunogens to raise or validate target‑specific antibodies.
Serological assays and viral characterisation
Our proteins support serological studies, immunofluorescence and viral characterisation across multiple hantavirus species.
