Additional Info
| Function | Cytokine secreted predominantly by activated T-lymphocytes as well as mast cells and osteoblastic cells that controls the production and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells into lineage-restricted cells. Also stimulates mature basophils, eosinophils, and monocytes to become functionally activated. In addition, plays an important role in neural cell proliferation and survival. Participates as well in bone homeostasis and inhibits osteoclast differentiation by preventing NF-kappa-B nuclear translocation and activation. Mechanistically, exerts its biological effects through a receptor composed of IL3RA subunit and a signal transducing subunit IL3RB. Receptor stimulation results in the rapid activation of JAK2 kinase activity leading to STAT5-mediated transcriptional program. Alternatively, contributes to cell survival under oxidative stress in non-hematopoietic systems by activating pathways mediated by PI3K/AKT and ERK. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Mouse IL-3 (IL-3) Antibody Pair (STJAP00951)
This antibody pair is designed to detect mouse IL-3 (Interleukin-3), corresponding to UniProt entry P01586. Reactivity is confirmed for mouse samples only.
The pair consists of antibodies raised in goat and rat. The capture antibody is supplied unconjugated at 0.5 mg/mL, while the detection antibody is biotin-conjugated at a concentration of 0.5 to 4 ug/mL.
This antibody pair has been validated for use in sandwich ELISA with colorimetric detection. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.
The recommended working dilution range is 1:1000 to 1:10000. Researchers may need to optimize dilutions depending on their specific experimental conditions and sample matrix.
Both components should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius for long-term storage. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to maintain antibody integrity.
Orders typically arrive within 1 to 2 weeks, and often sooner depending on your location. If your timeline is critical, please contact us before ordering and we can advise on current lead times.
