Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Porcine PP (PP) Antibody Pair (STJAP00580)
This antibody pair detects porcine pancreatic polypeptide (PP) and has confirmed reactivity in porcine samples. Both the capture and detection antibodies were raised against natural porcine PP protein.
The capture antibody is supplied unconjugated at 0.5 mg/mL in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300 and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5. The detection antibody is biotinylated, also at 0.5 mg/mL, and formulated in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300, 1% protective protein, and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5.
This pair is validated for use in ELISA. It is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
This antibody pair is suitable for use with serum, plasma, and other biological fluids of porcine origin.
Both the capture and detection antibodies were purified by antigen affinity chromatography using natural porcine PP protein as the immunogen for each.
Both components should be stored at -20°C for long-term storage. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve antibody integrity.
