Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Porcine ANG1 (ANG1) Antibody Pair (STJAP00637)
This antibody pair detects porcine Angiopoietin-1 (ANG1), corresponding to UniProt entry Q9BDY8. It is validated for reactivity in porcine samples and is intended for research use only.
The capture antibody is unconjugated and raised in mouse, purified by Protein A or G, while the detection antibody is biotin-conjugated and raised in goat, purified by antigen affinity. Both components are supplied at 0.5 mg/mL.
This pair has been validated for use in ELISA. Suitable sample types include serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.
Both the capture and detection antibodies were raised against recombinant porcine ANG1 protein. The capture antibody is formulated in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300 and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5, while the detection antibody formulation additionally contains 1% protective protein.
Both components should be stored at -20°C for long-term storage. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to maintain antibody integrity.
