Additional Info
| Function | A non-specific tyrosine phosphatase that dephosphorylates a diverse number of substrates under acidic conditions (pH 4-6) including alkyl, aryl, and acyl orthophosphate monoesters and phosphorylated proteins. Has lipid phosphatase activity and inactivates lysophosphatidic acid in seminal plasma. Isoform 2: In addition to its tyrosine phosphatase activity, also has ecto-5'-nucleotidase activity in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons. Generates adenosine from AMP. This extracellular adenosine leads to a decrease in chronic pain by activating A1R in nociceptive neurons. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Mouse ACP3 (ACP3) Antibody Pair (STJAP00983)
This antibody pair detects mouse ACP3 (Acid Phosphatase 3), corresponding to UniProt entry Q8CE08. Reactivity has been validated for mouse samples only.
The pair consists of two rabbit-raised antibodies: the capture antibody is unconjugated at a concentration of 0.5 mg/mL, and the detection antibody is biotinylated at a concentration of 0.5 to 4 ug/mL.
This pair is validated for sandwich ELISA using a colorimetric detection method. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.
A dilution range of 1:1000 to 1:10000 is recommended for this pair when used in a sandwich ELISA format.
Both components should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius for long-term storage. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to maintain antibody integrity.
