Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Monkey MCP-1 (MCP-1) Antibody Pair (STJAP00627)
This antibody pair detects MCP-1 (monocyte chemoattractant protein-1) and is validated for reactivity in monkey. The corresponding UniProt entry is P61274.
The capture antibody is an unconjugated mouse-raised antibody supplied at 0.5 mg/mL in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300 and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5. The detection antibody is a biotin-conjugated goat-raised antibody supplied at 0.5 mg/mL in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300, 1% protective protein, and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5.
This pair is validated for use in ELISA. It is intended for sandwich ELISA-based detection of monkey MCP-1 in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.
The capture antibody was purified by Protein A or G, and the detection antibody was purified by antigen affinity. Both antibodies were raised against recombinant monkey MCP-1 protein.
Both components should be stored at -20°C for long-term storage. Freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to maintain antibody integrity.
