Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Monkey ANG1 (ANG1) Antibody Pair (STJAP00636)
This antibody pair detects monkey Angiopoietin-1 (ANG1), corresponding to UniProt accession A0A2K5VW43. Reactivity has been confirmed for monkey samples only.
The capture antibody is an unconjugated mouse-host antibody purified by Protein A or G, supplied at 0.5 mg/mL in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300 and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5. The detection antibody is a biotin-conjugated goat-host antibody purified by antigen affinity, supplied at 0.5 mg/mL in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300, 1% protective protein, and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5.
This pair has been validated for use in ELISA. It is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
Suitable sample types include serum, plasma, and other biological fluids from monkey origin.
Both the capture and detection antibodies were raised against recombinant monkey ANG1 protein. The capture antibody was produced in mouse and the detection antibody in goat.
Both components should be stored at -20°C for long-term storage. Freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to maintain reagent integrity.
