ELISA Kits

Sandwich, competitive, Ready-to-use and matched antibody pair formats for quantifying proteins, peptides and hormones.

Our ELISA kit range covers sandwich, competitive, Ready-to-use and antibody pair formats for quantifying proteins, peptides and hormones in serum, plasma, cell lysate and tissue homogenate. Each kit ships with a validated protocol, standard curve reagents and a full datasheet, with assay times ranging from 90 minutes to 4 to 5 hours depending on format.

How it works

Two detection principles, one plate-based readout

Sandwich ELISA kits use two antibodies against different epitopes of the same target: one immobilised on the plate to capture the antigen, the second conjugated for detection, which suits low-abundance analytes in complex samples. Competitive ELISA kits measure antigen concentration through signal inhibition rather than direct capture, producing an inverse standard curve, which suits low molecular weight targets such as hormones and small metabolites that cannot support two non-overlapping antibody binding sites. Both formats resolve to a colorimetric readout on standard plate-reader equipment.

Why use our ELISA kits?

Ready-to-use format for speed
Our Ready-to-use ELISA kits run a single-wash protocol and deliver results in 90 minutes. Capture and detection antibodies are recombinant, supporting specificity and lot-to-lot consistency.
Sandwich format for sensitivity
Our sandwich ELISA kits pair a capture and detection antibody for sensitive, specific quantification across complex sample types, run to a standard 4 to 5 hour protocol.
Competitive format for small targets
Our competitive ELISA kits use an inverse signal format suited to small molecules, hormones and metabolites that fall below the size threshold for a sandwich assay.
Matched pairs for custom assays
Our matched antibody pair kits supply a titrated capture antibody and a biotinylated detection antibody without a pre-coated plate, so you set your own plate, sample diluent and blocking conditions for a custom sandwich ELISA.
Where they're used

Typical applications

Quantifying targets across sample types
Our ELISA kits are set up for quantifying proteins, peptides and hormones in serum, plasma, cell lysate and tissue homogenate, with the standard curve range and sensitivity confirmed on every datasheet.
Low-abundance target quantification
Our sandwich ELISA kits are suited to low-abundance analytes in complex samples, where a two-antibody capture and detection format supports the sensitivity needed.
Hormone and small metabolite quantification
Our competitive ELISA kits are preferred for small, low molecular weight targets where a two-antibody sandwich format is not possible.
Custom sandwich ELISA development
Our matched antibody pairs are useful when a pre-coated kit is not available for your target, or when an existing kit format does not fit the plate, diluent or blocking system already running in your lab.
