Human M-CSF protein (Recombinant) {Biotin} (STJP000195)

SKU:
STJP000195

Current Stock:
Host: B.mori
Note: FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY (RUO).
Short Description: Recombinant-Human M-CSF-protein was developed from b.mori. For use in research applications.
Conjugation: Biotin
Formulation: Recombinant M-CSFwas lyophilized from a.2 Mu m filtered PBS solution pH7.0 containing% HSA, % mannitol.
Dilution Range: Spin the vial and reconstite in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This can then be diluted into other buffers.
Storage Instruction: The lyophilized protein is stable for at least years from date of receipt at-20°C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2-8°C for one month, or at-20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss
Endotoxin: Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/µg (1EU/µg).
Gene Symbol: CSF1
Gene ID: 1435
Uniprot ID: CSF1_HUMAN
Immunogen Region: Mature chain
Post Translational Modifications N- and O-glycosylated. Glycosylation and proteolytic cleavage yield different soluble forms. One high molecular weight soluble form is a proteoglycan containing chondroitin sulfate. O-glycosylated with core 1 or possibly core 8 glycans. Isoform 1 is N- and O-glycosylated. Isoform 3 is only N-glycosylated.
Function Cytokine that plays an essential role in the regulation of survival, proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells, especially mononuclear phagocytes, such as macrophages and monocytes. Promotes the release of proinflammatory chemokines, and thereby plays an important role in innate immunity and in inflammatory processes. Plays an important role in the regulation of osteoclast proliferation and differentiation, the regulation of bone resorption, and is required for normal bone development. Required for normal male and female fertility. Promotes reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton, regulates formation of membrane ruffles, cell adhesion and cell migration. Plays a role in lipoprotein clearance.
