Dilution Range	Reconstitute in sterile water for a stock solution.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 5% Trehalose, 5% Mannitol.
Storage Instruction	Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for one week. Store at-20 to-80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.

Immunoreactivity	Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA, Immobilised IL38/IL1F10 at 1 µg/ml (100 µl/well) can bind rhIL1R-rp2 with a linear range of 0.15-5 µg/ml.

Function	Cytokine with immunomodulatory activity. Alone, does not induce cytokine production, but reduces IL22 and IL17A production by T-cells in response to heat-killed Candida albicans. Reduces IL36G-induced production of IL8 by peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Increases IL6 production by dendritic cells stimulated by bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS). Ligand for IL-36R/IL1RL2.
