Short Description: |
Recombinant-Human IL-23R-C-hFc protein was developed from hek293 cells and has a target region of C-hFc. For use in research applications. |
Formulation: |
Lyophilized from a 0.22 Mu m filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4. |
Immunoreactivity: |
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human IL-12B&IL-23A at 5 Mu g/mL (100 Mu L/well) can bind Human IL23R with a linear range of 4-135 ng/ml. |

Recombinant Human IL-23R Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Gly24-Gly355) of human IL23R (Accession #NP_653302.2) fused with a hFc tag at the C-terminus. |
Post Translational Modifications | Phosphorylated in response to IL23. |
Function | Associates with IL12RB1 to form the interleukin-23 receptor. Binds IL23 and mediates T-cells, NK cells and possibly certain macrophage/myeloid cells stimulation probably through activation of the Jak-Stat signaling cascade. IL23 functions in innate and adaptive immunity and may participate in acute response to infection in peripheral tissues. IL23 may be responsible for autoimmune inflammatory diseases and be important for tumorigenesis. |
