Short Description: Recombinant-Human IL-12 receptor beta 1-protein was developed from hek293. For use in research applications.
Conjugation: Unconjugated
Formulation: Lyophilised from 0.2 Mu m filtered PBS solution pH7.4.
Dilution Range: Spin the vial and reconstite in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This can then be diluted into other buffers.
Storage Instruction: Can be stored in working aliquots at°C-°C C for one month, or at-20°C C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. NA
Endotoxin: Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than.1 ng/µg (1EU/µg). NA
Immunoreactivity: The activity was determined by its ability to bind Human IL-12B in a linear range of-60 ng/ml in functional ELISA. NA
Gene Symbol: IL12RB1
Gene ID: 3594
Uniprot ID: I12R1_HUMAN
Immunogen Region: ECD
Immunogen: DNA sequence encoding extracellular domain of Human IL-12RB1 fused to a C-terminal polyHis tag was expressed in HEK cells. NA

Function Functions as an interleukin receptor which binds interleukin-12 with low affinity and is involved in IL12 transduction. Associated with IL12RB2 it forms a functional, high affinity receptor for IL12. Associates also with IL23R to form the interleukin-23 receptor which functions in IL23 signal transduction probably through activation of the Jak-Stat signaling cascade.
