Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Human FDP (FDP) Antibody Pair (STJAP00514)
This antibody pair detects human FDP (Fibrin Degradation Products) and has confirmed reactivity with human samples only. Both the capture and detection antibodies were raised against natural human FDP protein.
The capture antibody is supplied unconjugated at 0.5 mg/mL in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300 and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5, while the detection antibody is biotinylated at the same concentration in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300, 1% protective protein, and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5. Both antibodies are mouse-derived and purified by Protein A or G.
This antibody pair is validated for use in ELISA. It is intended for use in a sandwich ELISA configuration using the unconjugated antibody as the capture component and the biotinylated antibody as the detection component.
This antibody pair is suitable for use with serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. These are all research use only applications.
Both the capture and detection antibodies should be stored at -20°C for long-term storage. Freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to maintain reagent integrity.
Both the capture and detection antibodies were raised against natural human FDP protein. No recombinant or synthetic immunogen was used for either component.
