The mammalian Thioredoxin reductase reduces thioredoxins as well as non-disulfide substrates such as selenite, lipoic acids, lipid hydroperoxides, and hydrogen peroxide. Recombinant E. coli TRXB protein was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
