Trial size HIF1A antibodies available in the Antibody Validation Project

Introduction:

HIF1A, also known as hypoxia inducible factor 1 subunit alpha, is the master regulator of cellular and systemic response to hypoxia and activates the transcription of over 40 different genes, which serve highly important functions of sustaining life and maintaining normal homeostasis. HIF1A is widely used in the pharmacological industry for many different conditions and we provide a number of trial sized antibodies, which are suitable for HIF1A research purposes, and to help you make the right decision and find the best suited antibody for you, please find the answers to some of the key topics regarding HIF1A that we have provided in the links below.

What is HIF1A?

Hypoxia inducible factor 1 subunit alpha (HIF1A) regulates parts of the adenosine pathway. Particularly, HIF1A regulates the expression of the ADORA2B receptor, by binding to the HRE of CD73(its promoter), allowing adenosine transport across the cell membrane.

Where is HIF1A found?

HIF1A is found throughout the body, mostly in bone marrow, the gall bladder and appendix. The lowest concentration of HIF1A is in the pancreas and the salivary gland.

What role does HIF1A play in disease?

Functioning as a master transcriptional regulator of systemic and cellular response, HIF1A activates the transcription of many genes, whose proteins are taking part in oxygen delivery, energy metabolism and angiogenesis. HIF1A is often overexpressed in many human cancers, prompting tumor growth and metastasis growth via initiation of angiogenesis and regulation of cellular metabolism to battle hypoxia.
