It recognizes both normal adult and fetal liver tissue. The typical pattern is a granular cytoplasmic staining. This antibody is useful in differentiating hepatocellular carcinomas with adenoid features from adenocarcinomas, either primary in the liver or metastatic lesions to the liver |
