Short Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody anti-CACNG7 (N-Term) is suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot research applications.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Conjugation: Unconjugated
Isotype: IgG
Formulation: Lyophilised
Purification: IgG purified
Dilution Range: IHC, WB. A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Storage Instruction: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at-20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, Glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Gene Symbol: CACNG7
Gene ID: 59284
Uniprot ID: CCG7_HUMAN
Immunogen Region: N-Term
Specificity: Specific for CACNG7.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from the n-terminal region of human CACNG7 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in mouse and rat.
Function Regulates the activity of L-type calcium channels that contain CACNA1C as pore-forming subunit. Regulates the trafficking and gating properties of AMPA-selective glutamate receptors (AMPARs). Promotes their targeting to the cell membrane and synapses and modulates their gating properties by slowing their rates of activation, deactivation and desensitization and by mediating their resensitization. Displays subunit-specific AMPA receptor regulation. Shows specificity only for GRIA1 and GRIA2.
