Short Description : Recombinant-Active-Human KLK11-C-10*His protein was developed from mammalian cells and has a target region of C-10*His. For use in research applications.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 5% Trehalose, 5% Mannitol.
Dilution Range: Reconstitute in sterile water for a stock solution.
Storage Instruction: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for one week. Store at-20 to-80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.

Post Translational Modifications About 40% of KLK11 is inactivated by internal cleavage after Arg-188. This proteolytic inactivation may be effected by plasminogen.
Function Possible multifunctional protease. Efficiently cleaves 'bz-Phe-Arg-4-methylcoumaryl-7-amide', a kallikrein substrate, and weakly cleaves other substrates for kallikrein and trypsin. Cleaves synthetic peptides after arginine but not lysine residues.
