Short Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody anti-TAAR7 is suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot research applications.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Conjugation: Unconjugated
Isotype: IgG
Formulation: Lyophilised
Purification: IgG purified
Dilution Range: IHC, WB. A dilution of 1:300 to 1:2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Storage Instruction: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at-20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, Glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Gene Symbol: Taar7a
Gene ID: 215856
Uniprot ID: TAA7A_MOUSE
Specificity: Specific for TAAR7.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from mouse TAAR7a, b, e, f conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous with rat TAAR7a, b, c, e, g, h.
Function Olfactory receptor specific for N,N-dimethylalkylamines trace amines. Trace amine compounds are enriched in animal body fluids and act on trace amine-associated receptors (TAARs) to elicit both intraspecific and interspecific innate behaviors. Ligand-binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via G(s)-class of G alpha proteins (GNAL or GNAS).
