What is S-tag
The S-Tag is a 15 amino acid oligopeptide extracted from the pancreatic ribonuclease A. This tag can easily be fused to the N- or C-terminus of any protein of interest and can be later detected and purified using antibodies.
S-Tag structure
The S-Tag is made up from 7 charged polar, 3 uncharged polar, and 5 nonpolar residues, and is an ex- cessively soluble peptide with little structure and net charge at neutral pH.
The S-Tag carrier is quite unlikely to interfere with the proper folding or function of a fused target protein.
S-Tag Polyclonal antibodies
Rabbit polyclonal antibody anti-S-Tag is suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA research applications.
S-Tag Monoclonal antibodies
Mouse monoclonal antibody anti-S-Tag is suitable for use in Western Blot research applications.
