Dilution Range: IHC, WB (confirmed by recombinant protein). A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Storage Instruction: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at-20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, Glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Gene Symbol: ATP10A
Gene ID: 57194
Uniprot ID: AT10A_HUMAN
Immunogen Region: Cytoplasmic Domain
Specificity: Specific for ATP10A.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from 3d cytoplasmic region of human ATP10A conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Post Translational Modifications Autophosphorylated at the conserved aspartate of the P-type ATPase signature sequence.
Function Catalytic component of P4-ATPase flippase complex, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled to the transport of phosphatidylcholine (PC) from the outer to the inner leaflet of the plasma membrane. Initiates inward plasma membrane bending and recruitment of Bin/amphiphysin/Rvs (BAR) domain-containing proteins involved in membrane tubulation and cell trafficking. Facilitates ITGB1/beta1 integrin endocytosis, delaying cell adhesion and cell spreading on extracellular matrix. Has low flippase activity toward glucosylceramide (GlcCer).
