Anti-HA-Tag antibodies

What is HA-Tag

The Human Influenza hemagglutinin (HA) protein is a surface glycoprotein required for an Influenza infection. It is derived from the HA molecule and is often used as an epitope tag for expression vectors.

The main advantage of this tag is that it doesn't interfere with the reactivity of the recombinant protein that it is expressed on.

HA-Tag structure

The hemagglutinin tag is a 9-amino acid long peptide, which corresponds to residues 98-106 of the human influenza HA molecule, which is an ~63kDa surface glycoprotein required for the infectivity of the human virus.
