Short Description: Recombinant-Human Angiopoietin-like 7/ANGPTL7-C-His protein was developed from hek293 cells and has a target region of C-His. For use in research applications.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.22 Mu m filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4. Contact us for customized product form or formulation.
Immunoreactivity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Recombinant Human ANGPTL7 at 5 Mu g/mL (100 Mu L/well) can bind Recombinant Human LILRB4 with a linear range of 0.5-3.5 Mu g/mL.
Gene Symbol: ANGPTL7
Gene ID: 10218
Uniprot ID: ANGL7_HUMAN
Immunogen: Recombinant Human Angiopoietin-like 7/ANGPTL7 Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Gln27-Pro346) of human Angiopoietin-like 7 (Accession #NP_066969.1) fused with a 6Ă—His tag at the C-te
Tissue Specificity Highly expressed in the cornea (at protein level). Expression is restricted to the stromal layer. Also detected at the junction between the corneal stromal layer and the conjuctiva. Not detected in the sclera.
Function Has a role in the formation and organization of the extracellular matrix. In the eye, it functions as a mediator of dexamethasone-induced matrix deposition in the trabecular meshwork, the tissue responsible for the outflow of the ocular aqueous humor and for the maintenance of intraocular pressure. Is a negative regulator of angiogenesis in the cornea, and plays a major role in maintaining corneal avascularity and transparency.
