Short Description: Recombinant-COV2 Spike protein S1 B.1.1.529 (Omicron)-His-Tag protein was developed from hek293 and has a target region of His-Tag. For use in research applications.
Conjugation: Unconjugated
Formulation: Lyophilised from 0.2 µm filtered PBS solution pH7.4.
Dilution Range: Spin the vial and reconstite in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This can then be diluted into other buffers.
Storage Instruction: The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 1 year from date of receipt at-20°C. NA
Endotoxin: Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/µg (1EU/µg). NA
Immunoreactivity: The activity was tested by binding Human ACE2 in functional ELISA assay (see figure below). NA
Immunogen Region: ECD
Immunogen: DNA sequence encoding extracellular fragment[16-683] of COV2 Spike S1 [accession# QIC53204.1] variant (B.1.1.529/Omicron) (A67V, del69-70, T95I, del142-144, Y145D, del211, L212I, ins214EPE, G339D, S371L, S373P, S375F, K417N, N440K, G446S, S477N, T478
Background Recombinant COV2 spike S1 subunit B.1.1.529 encodes the COV2 spike glycoprotein S1 sequence. This molecule has a calculated mass of approximately 76kDa. Recombinant S1 migrates due to glycosylation as an approximately 120 kDa protein under reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE.
