• CUT&Tag was performed using the CUT&Tag Assay Kit (pAG-Tn5) for Illumina (RK20265) from 10⁵ Hep G2 cells with 1 Mu g TEAD1 rabbit monoclonal antibody (STJ11102298) , along with a Goat Anti-rabbit IgG (H+L). The CUT&Tag results indicate the enrichment pattern of TEAD1 in representative gene loci (SLC7A5) , as shown in figure.
  • Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using TEAD1 rabbit monoclonal antibody (STJ11102298) at 1:1000 dilution. Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) (STJS000856) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25 Mu g per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 10s.
  • Immunoprecipitation analysis of 600 Mu g extracts of mouse skeletal muscle cells using 3 Mu g TEAD1 antibody (STJ11102298). Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using TEAD1 antibody (STJ11102298) at a dilution of 1:1000.
  • Chromatin immunoprecipitation analysis of extracts of HepG2 cells, using TEAD1 antibody (STJ11102298) and rabbit IgG. The amount of immunoprecipitated DNA was checked by quantitative PCR. Histogram was constructed by the ratios of the immunoprecipitated DNA to the input.

Tissue Specificity Preferentially expressed in skeletal muscle. Lower levels in pancreas, placenta, and heart.
Function Transcription factor which plays a key role in the Hippo signaling pathway, a pathway involved in organ size control and tumor suppression by restricting proliferation and promoting apoptosis. The core of this pathway is composed of a kinase cascade wherein MST1/MST2, in complex with its regulatory protein SAV1, phosphorylates and activates LATS1/2 in complex with its regulatory protein MOB1, which in turn phosphorylates and inactivates YAP1 oncoprotein and WWTR1/TAZ. Acts by mediating gene expression of YAP1 and WWTR1/TAZ, thereby regulating cell proliferation, migration and epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) induction. Binds specifically and cooperatively to the SPH and GT-IIC 'enhansons' (5'-GTGGAATGT-3') and activates transcription in vivo in a cell-specific manner. The activation function appears to be mediated by a limiting cell-specific transcriptional intermediary factor (TIF). Involved in cardiac development. Binds to the M-CAT motif.
