| Post Translational Modifications | Phosphorylated by AKT1.insulin-induced. Also phosphorylated by AMPK in response to insulin. Physiological hyperinsulinemia increases phosphorylation in skeletal muscle. Insulin-stimulated phosphorylation is reduced by 39% in type 2 diabetic patients. |
