Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Porcine IL-1 Alpha (IL-1 Alpha) Antibody Pair (STJAP00587)
This antibody pair detects porcine IL-1 Alpha (UniProt P18430) and is validated for reactivity in porcine samples only. It is not validated for use in other species.
The capture antibody is unconjugated and the detection antibody is biotinylated. Both are supplied at 0.5 mg/mL and were raised in goat using recombinant porcine IL-1 Alpha protein as the immunogen. Both antibodies were purified by antigen affinity chromatography.
This pair is validated for ELISA only. Suitable sample types include serum, plasma, and other biological fluids from porcine sources.
The capture antibody is formulated in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300 and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5. The detection antibody is formulated in PBS with 0.04% Proclin 300, 1% protective protein, and 50% glycerol at pH 7.5.
Both components should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius for long-term storage. Freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to maintain antibody integrity.
