Current Stock:
Host: HEK293 cells
Reactivity: Mouse
Note: STRICTLY FOR FURTHER SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH USE ONLY (RUO). MUST NOT TO BE USED IN DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS.
Short Description: Recombinant-Mouse IL-15RA/CD215-C-hFc&His protein was developed from hek293 cells and has a target region of C-hFc&His. For use in research applications.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.22 Mu m filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Immunoreactivity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human IL15 at 1 Mu g/mL (100 Mu L/well) can bind Mouse IL15RA with a linear range of 0.3-77 ng/mL.
Gene Symbol: Il15ra
Gene ID: 16169
Uniprot ID: I15RA_MOUSE
Immunogen: Recombinant Mouse IL-15RA/CD215 Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Gly33-Lys205) of mouse IL15RA/CD215 (Accession #NP_032384.1) fused with a Fc, 6Ă—His tag at the C-terminus.
Post Translational Modifications N-glycosylated and O-glycosylated. A soluble form (sIL-15RA) arises from proteolytic shedding of the membrane-anchored receptor. It also binds IL15 and thus interferes with IL15 binding to the membrane receptor.
Function High-affinity receptor for interleukin-15. Can signal both in cis and trans where IL15R from one subset of cells presents IL15 to neighboring IL2RG-expressing cells. In neutrophils, binds and activates kinase SYK in response to IL15 stimulation. In neutrophils, required for IL15-induced phagocytosis in a SYK-dependent manner.
