Immunogen: Recombinant Human TEM8/ANTXR1 Protein is produced by Mammalian expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Glu33-Lys321) of human ANTXR1 (Accession #Q9H6X2) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Function Plays a role in cell attachment and migration. Interacts with extracellular matrix proteins and with the actin cytoskeleton. Mediates adhesion of cells to type 1 collagen and gelatin, reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and promotes cell spreading. Plays a role in the angiogenic response of cultured umbilical vein endothelial cells. (Microbial infection) Acts as a receptor for protective antigen (PA) of B.anthracis.
