Short Description :Recombinant-Active-Human FLRT2-C-His protein was developed from mammalian cells and has a target region of C-His. For use in research applications.
Applications:ELISA/WB
Host:Mammalian Cells
Note:STRICTLY FOR FURTHER SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH USE ONLY (RUO). MUST NOT BE USED IN DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS.
Conjugation:Unconjugated
Dilution Range:Reconstitute in sterile water for a stock solution.
Formulation:Lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 5% Trehalose, 5% Mannitol.
Storage Instruction:Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for one week. Store at-20 to-80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Endotoxin:<0.1 EU/Mu g of the protein by the LAL method.
Immunoreactivity:Measured by the ability of the Immobilised protein to support the adhesion of Neuro‑2A mouse neuroblastoma cells. recombinant human FLRT2 Immobilised at 5 Mu g/mL, 100 Mu L/well, will mediate >50% Neuro‑2A cell adhesion.
Gene Symbol:FLRT2
Gene ID:23768
Uniprot ID:FLRT2_HUMAN
Immunogen:Homo sapiens (Human)
Immunogen Region:Cys36-Ser539
Post Translational Modifications N-glycosylated. Proteolytic cleavage in the juxtamembrane region gives rise to a soluble ectodomain. Cleavage is probably effected by a metalloprotease.
Function Functions in cell-cell adhesion, cell migration and axon guidance. Mediates cell-cell adhesion via its interactions with ADGRL3 and probably also other latrophilins that are expressed at the surface of adjacent cells. May play a role in the migration of cortical neurons during brain development via its interaction with UNC5D. Mediates axon growth cone collapse and plays a repulsive role in neuron guidance via its interaction with UNC5D, and possibly also other UNC-5 family members. Plays a role in fibroblast growth factor-mediated signaling cascades. Required for normal organization of the cardiac basement membrane during embryogenesis, and for normal embryonic epicardium and heart morphogenesis.
