| Background | CD25, Interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain, is the alpha subunit of the cell surface receptor which regulates regulatory T-cells. CD25 has been detected in various hematological malignancies including adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma, and hairy cell leukemia. MON 3230 has also been useful in identifying mast cells in skin biopsies in the setting of Urticaria Pigmentosa, which is predictive of Systemic Mastocytosis. |
