Short Description: Guinea Pig polyclonal antibody anti-Enolase (Internal Region) is suitable for use in Western Blot research applications.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Conjugation: Unconjugated
Formulation: Lyophilised
Purification: Affinity purification
Dilution Range: WB. A dilution of 1:1000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Storage Instruction: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at-20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, Glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Gene Symbol: Eno1
Gene ID: 13806/433182
Uniprot ID: ENOA_MOUSE
Immunogen Region: Internal Region
Specificity: Specific for Enolase (alpha, beta, gamma).
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from aa region of 260-280 of human Enolase conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous in rat and mouse.
Post Translational Modifications ISGylated. Lysine 2-hydroxyisobutyrylation (Khib) by p300/EP300 activates the phosphopyruvate hydratase activity.
Function Glycolytic enzyme the catalyzes the conversion of 2-phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate. In addition to glycolysis, involved in various processes such as growth control, hypoxia tolerance and allergic responses. May also function in the intravascular and pericellular fibrinolytic system due to its ability to serve as a receptor and activator of plasminogen on the cell surface of several cell-types such as leukocytes and neurons. Stimulates immunoglobulin production.
