Short Description :	Recombinant-Mouse SFTPD-C-His protein was developed from mammalian cells and has a target region of C-His. For use in research applications.

Conjugation:	Unconjugated
Formulation:	Lyophilized from a 0.22 Mu m filtered solution in 20mM MES, 150mM NaCl, pH 7.4.
Dilution Range:	Reconstitute in sterile water for a stock solution.
Storage Instruction:	Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for one week. Store at-20 to-80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Endotoxin:	< 1 EU/µg as determined by LAL test.

Function	Contributes to the lung's defense against inhaled microorganisms, organic antigens and toxins. Interacts with compounds such as bacterial lipopolysaccharides, oligosaccharides and fatty acids and modulates leukocyte action in immune response. May participate in the extracellular reorganization or turnover of pulmonary surfactant. Binds strongly maltose residues and to a lesser extent other alpha-glucosyl moieties.
