Host: Mammalian Cells
Applications: ELISA/WB
Note: STRICTLY FOR FURTHER SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH USE ONLY (RUO). MUST NOT BE USED IN DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS.
Short Description : Recombinant-Active-Mouse SFRP2-C-His protein was developed from mammalian cells and has a target region of C-His. For use in research applications.
Conjugation: Unconjugated
Formulation: Lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 5% Trehalose, 5% Mannitol.
Dilution Range: Reconstitute in sterile water for a stock solution.
Storage Instruction: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for one week. Store at-20 to-80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Endotoxin: <0.1 EU/Mu g of the protein by the LAL method.
Immunoreactivity: Measured by its ability to compete with Frizzled-1 for binding to biotinylated Wnt-3a. The IC50 value is 0.7-3.5 nM, under conditions in which recombinant Mouse Frizzled‑1 is present at 2.1 nM, and biotinylated rmWnt-3a concentration is 2.7 nM.
Gene Symbol: Sfrp2
Gene ID: 20319
Uniprot ID: SFRP2_MOUSE
Immunogen Region: Leu25-Cys295
Immunogen: Mus musculus (Mouse)
Function Soluble frizzled-related proteins (sFRPS) function as modulators of Wnt signaling through direct interaction with Wnts. They have a role in regulating cell growth and differentiation in specific cell types. SFRP2 may be important for eye retinal development and for myogenesis.
