Short Description :	Recombinant-Active-Mouse Chil3-C-His protein was developed from mammalian cells and has a target region of C-His. For use in research applications.

Formulation:	Lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 5% Trehalose, 5% Mannitol.
Dilution Range:	Reconstitute in sterile water for a stock solution.
Storage Instruction:	Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for one week. Store at-20 to-80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Endotoxin:	<0.1 EU/Mu g of the protein by the LAL method.

Function	Lectin that binds saccharides with a free amino group, such as glucosamine or galactosamine. Binding to oligomeric saccharides is much stronger than binding to mono- or disaccharides. Also binds chitin and heparin. Has weak hexosaminidase activity but no chitinase activity. Has chemotactic activity for T-lymphocytes, bone marrow cells and eosinophils. May play a role in inflammation and allergy.
