Host: Mammalian Cells
Applications: ELISA/WB
Note: STRICTLY FOR FURTHER SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH USE ONLY (RUO). MUST NOT BE USED IN DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS.
Short Description : Recombinant-Active-Human PTH1R-C-His protein was developed from mammalian cells and has a target region of C-His. For use in research applications.
Conjugation: Unconjugated
Formulation: Lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 5% Trehalose, 5% Mannitol.
Dilution Range: Reconstitute in sterile water for a stock solution.
Storage Instruction: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for one week. Store at-20 to-80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Endotoxin: <0.1 EU/Mu g of the protein by the LAL method.
Immunoreactivity: When recombinant human PTH1R/PTHR1 is used at 2 Mu g/mL, the concentration of biotinylated human PTHrP that produces 50% of the optimal binding response is found to be approximately 0.03 ‑ 0.12 Mu g/mL.
Gene Symbol: PTH1R
Gene ID: 5745
Uniprot ID: PTH1R_HUMAN
Immunogen Region: Asp27-Gly188
Immunogen: Homo sapiens (Human)
Post Translational Modifications N-glycosylated.
Function G-protein-coupled receptor for parathyroid hormone (PTH) and for parathyroid hormone-related peptide (PTHLH). Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of downstream effectors, such as adenylate cyclase (cAMP). PTH1R is coupled to G(s) G alpha proteins and mediates activation of adenylate cyclase activity. PTHLH dissociates from PTH1R more rapidly than PTH.as consequence, the cAMP response induced by PTHLH decays faster than the response induced by PTH.
