Short Description :	Recombinant-Active-Human EFNA3-C-His protein was developed from mammalian cells and has a target region of C-His. For use in research applications.

Formulation:	Lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 5% Trehalose, 5% Mannitol.
Dilution Range:	Reconstitute in sterile water for a stock solution.
Storage Instruction:	Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for one week. Store at-20 to-80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Endotoxin:	<0.1 EU/Mu g of the protein by the LAL method.

Function	Cell surface GPI-bound ligand for Eph receptors, a family of receptor tyrosine kinases which are crucial for migration, repulsion and adhesion during neuronal, vascular and epithelial development. Binds promiscuously Eph receptors residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighboring cells. The signaling pathway downstream of the receptor is referred to as forward signaling while the signaling pathway downstream of the ephrin ligand is referred to as reverse signaling.
