| Tissue Specificity | Present at high level in epidermis and seminiferous epithelium: while basal cells in the epidermis and spermatogonia show no perceptible amount, keratinocytes of suprabasal layers and differentiating first-order spermatocytes up to spermatids exhibit high expression.
