Anti-FITC-Tag antibodies

What is FITC-Tag

Streptavidin-Fluorescein Isothiocyanate Conjugate (FITC) is an antibody conjugate, often used in fluorescence cell sorting or analysis and immunomicroscopy.

This conjugate can absorb ultraviolet or blue light, emitting a yellow-green light when excited.

FITC-Tag structure

The FITC-Tag is an isothiocyanate derivative of fluorescein, which is mainly synthesized via modification of its lower ring at the 5-carbon positions.

The isothiocyanate of FITC can react with primary amine groups of proteins or antibodies, and this property is used for labeling, including an absorbance maximum at about 495 nm and an emission wavelength of 520 nm.
