Polyclonal |
Conjugation: |
Unconjugated |
Isotype: |
IgG |
Formulation: |
Lyophilised |
Purification: |
IgG purified |
Dilution Range: |
IHC, WB (recombinant protein). A dilution of 1:300 to 1:2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications. |
Storage Instruction: |
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at-20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, Glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |

Immunogen Region: |
1230-1280 aa |
Specificity: |
Specific for ABCC4. |
Immunogen: |
A synthetic peptide from aa region 1230-1280 of human ABCC4 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide shares 96% identity with mouse sequence and 93% with rat sequence. |
Post Translational Modifications | N-glycosylated.leading to substrate-selective effects on its transport activity. |
Function | ATP-dependent transporter of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) family that actively extrudes physiological compounds and xenobiotics from cells. Transports a range of endogenous molecules that have a key role in cellular communication and signaling, including cyclic nucleotides such as cyclic AMP (cAMP) and cyclic GMP (cGMP), bile acids, steroid conjugates, urate, and prostaglandins. Mediates the ATP-dependent efflux of glutathione conjugates such as leukotriene C4 (LTC4) and leukotriene B4 (LTB4) too. The presence of GSH is necessary for the ATP-dependent transport of LTB4, whereas GSH is not required for the transport of LTC4. Mediates the cotransport of bile acids with reduced glutathione (GSH). Transports a wide range of drugs and their metabolites, including anticancer, antiviral and antibiotics molecules. Confers resistance to anticancer agents such as methotrexate. |
