Short Description: Recombinant-Human HGK2/CD167a-C-His protein was developed from hek293 cells and has a target region of C-His. For use in research applications.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.22 Mu m filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Storage Instruction: Store at-20°C for up to 1 year from the date of receipt, and avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Immunoreactivity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human DDR1 at 1 Mu g/mL (100 Mu L/well) can bind DDR1 Rabbit polyclonal antibody with a linear range of 1-205 ng/mL.
Gene Symbol: DDR1
Gene ID: 780
Uniprot ID: DDR1_HUMAN
Immunogen Region: Asp21-Ala417
Immunogen: Recombinant Human HGK2/CD167a Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Asp21-Ala417) of human DDR1 (Accession #NP_054699.2) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Post Translational Modifications Autophosphorylated in response to fibrillar collagen binding. Glycosylation of Asn-211, but apparently not of Asn-260 or Asn-394, prevents autophosphorylation from occurring in the absence of collagen.
Function Tyrosine kinase that functions as cell surface receptor for fibrillar collagen and regulates cell attachment to the extracellular matrix, remodeling of the extracellular matrix, cell migration, differentiation, survival and cell proliferation. Collagen binding triggers a signaling pathway that involves SRC and leads to the activation of MAP kinases. Regulates remodeling of the extracellular matrix by up-regulation of the matrix metalloproteinases MMP2, MMP7 and MMP9, and thereby facilitates cell migration and wound healing. Required for normal blastocyst implantation during pregnancy, for normal mammary gland differentiation and normal lactation. Required for normal ear morphology and normal hearing. Promotes smooth muscle cell migration, and thereby contributes to arterial wound healing. Also plays a role in tumor cell invasion. Phosphorylates PTPN11.
