Current Stock:
Host: HEK293 cells
Reactivity: Human
Note: STRICTLY FOR FURTHER SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH USE ONLY (RUO). MUST NOT TO BE USED IN DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS.
Short Description: Active Recombinant-Human CD19-C-His protein was developed from hek293 cells and has a target region of C-His. For use in research applications.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.22 Mu m filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Endotoxin: Please contact us for more information.
Immunoreactivity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human CD19 at 2 Mu g/mL (100 Mu L/well) can bind CD19 Rabbit pAb with a linear range of 0.12-3.53ng/mL.
Gene Symbol: CD19
Gene ID: 930
Uniprot ID: CD19_HUMAN
Immunogen Region: Pro20-Lys291
Immunogen: Recombinant Human CD19 Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Pro20-Lys291) of human CD19 (Accession #NP_001761.3) fused with an 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Tissue Specificity Detected on marginal zone and germinal center B cells in lymph nodes. Detected on blood B cells (at protein level).
Post Translational Modifications Phosphorylated on tyrosine following B-cell activation. Phosphorylated on tyrosine residues by LYN. Tyrosine residues are phosphorylated sequentially after activation of the B cell receptor. Phosphorylation of Tyr-531 is extremely rapid, followed by phosphorylation at Tyr-409. In contrast, phosphorylation of Tyr-500 appears more slowly and is more transient, returning rapidly to basal levels.
Function Functions as coreceptor for the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) on B-lymphocytes. Decreases the threshold for activation of downstream signaling pathways and for triggering B-cell responses to antigens. Activates signaling pathways that lead to the activation of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and the mobilization of intracellular Ca(2+) stores. Is not required for early steps during B cell differentiation in the blood marrow. Required for normal differentiation of B-1 cells. Required for normal B cell differentiation and proliferation in response to antigen challenges. Required for normal levels of serum immunoglobulins, and for production of high-affinity antibodies in response to antigen challenge.
