These highly sensitive pairs contain both a complimentary capture and detection antibody, which are specific to TIMP1. The TIMP1 capture antibody can be coated onto your desired immobilised surface (e.g., a microplate or membrane), and then binds to the TIMP1 target antigen from the sample. Following incubation, the TIMP1 detection antibody then binds to a different epitope on the TIMP1 antigen, allowing for signal generation when the antigen is present.
