| Function | N-alpha-acetyltransferase that specifically mediates the acetylation of the acidic amino terminus of processed forms of beta- and gamma-actin (ACTB and ACTG, respectively). N-terminal acetylation of processed beta- and gamma-actin regulates actin filament depolymerization and elongation.
