These highly sensitive pairs contain both a complimentary capture and detection antibody, which are specific to IL6. The IL6 capture antibody can be coated onto your desired immobilised surface (e.g., a microplate or membrane), and then binds to the IL6 target antigen from the sample. Following incubation, the IL6 detection antibody then binds to a different epitope on the IL6 antigen, allowing for signal generation when the antigen is present. Target Information

IL6 encodes interleukin 6, a pro-inflammatory cytokine that regulates immune responses, inflammation, and hematopoiesis. It is involved in the acute phase response to infection and plays a role in chronic inflammatory conditions and autoimmune diseases.
