Trial size ABL1 antibodies available in the Antibody Validation Project
Introduction:
ABL1 is the gene from which a protein that serves as a kinase is synthesized and is involved in many cellular processes, important for sustaining life. Apart from that, ABL1 is relevant to cancer, mostly by its part in the BCR-ABL fusion protein, which is closely related to chronic myeloid leukemia, and using its weaknesses the prognostic outlook of the disease is greatly improved. We provide a number of trial sized antibodies, which are suitable for ABL1 research purposes, and to help you make the right decision and find the best suited antibody for you, please find the answers to some of the key topics regarding ABL1 that we have provided in the links below.

What is ABL1?
ABL1 gene gives the needed instructions for synthesizing a protein which is involved in numerous cellular processes in the human body. The protein made from ABL1 serves the function of kinase, changing others proteins activity by adding oxygen and a phosphate group on specific places. This kinase is mainly dormant, and has to be turned on in order to serve its functions.
Where is ABL1 found?
ABL1 kinase interacts with proteins from the actin cytoskeleton, making up the structural support and frame of the cell. The actions that occur aid with cell migration, adhesion and numerous other processes.
What role does ABL1 play in disease?
The class that ABL1 comes from is named oncogenes. In the case of mutation, oncogenes can cause normal cells to turn into cancerous. In the event of genetic rearrangement involving ABL1 gene Chronic myeloid leukemia and other fast-growing blood cell cancers occur.
