Polyclonal Antibodies

Polyclonal antibodies are secreted by multiple B-cell lineages in the body. These types of antibodies are a collection of immunoglobulin molecules, which react against a specific antigen across a variety of different epitopes.
Typically these are produced by injecting the host animal with an immunogen, which stimulates a primary immune response and production of the required antibody.
